The first DJ of the Month is George Karmokolias. George has been spinning in small MD venues in Bethesda and around DC, as well internationally in Greece. He's also thrown massive parties with 400+ people at his house in Potomac, spinning until seven AM. A typical set from George will range to everything from jazz and reggae at the beginning of a set to various types of house around the middle, and slamming techno towards the end (by which point everyone at the house has gotten situated into the party and is ready for the set to start ripping). Unfortunately for us, George is booked for the summer and will be spinning a nightly residency at the Paradise Lounge in Mykonos, Greece. We will however, have several photos and some videos from those nights in the future. We also hope to have some live sets as well, and also a spot where George can write in and let us know how things are going over there.
